Lesson

ph1-5. Place Your Subject

​Many amateurs make the mistake of placing their subject with the background.
The problem is the subject is often too small to see easily.

Planning your background and having your subject move up is a better way.

That way, you can see the background, and your subject is also easier to see.​

Practice

ph1-5. Place Your Subject

Take three pictures each time, placing the same subject in a different part of the picture.
  1. Place the subject with the background
  2. Place the subject closer to the camera and in the middle of your shot
  3. Place the subject closer to the camera but off to the side to see the background better
Study your results, send it in with  25-75 words about your observations.
