Lesson

ph3-3. Flair

Shooting into the sun causes what’s called “flair.”

This flair can have a dramatic effect. Flair also wipes out your details.

So, if you want to wipe out the details, shoot the light right into the camera.

Practice

ph3-3p. Flair
Shoot in the morning or late afternoon on a bright day when the light is low in the sky and can point right into the camera.
  1. Take a picture of yourself with a bright light going directly into the camera lens.
Study your results, send it in with 25-75 words about your observations.
