ph2-1. Note the Horizon

​In many of the pictures you take, you will have a horizon.

A line often cuts your picture, even if it’s not an actual horizon. 

Make this part of your image and think about other options.

You can raise the camera and tilt it down, so the horizons are at neck level.

Lowering the camera and the horizon makes foreground subjects look huge.

Practice

Take three pictures of yourself or someone else with the horizon in different positions.
  1. Place the horizon at shoulder level
  2. Place the horizon at waist level
  3. Place the horizon at knee level
Study your results, send it in with 25-75 words about your observations.
