This backlit shot has extreme contrast. But we got beautiful light coming through the fig tree, and that’s the priority. So it’s OK if details are underexposed. Working with a person or an object, take a picture of the subject using one leading light on the back of your head or the subject. If you don't have bright sun, you can use a street light in the evening or use a harsh reading light indoors. Make sure the light is intense, so the shadows are dark.
