Now we are preparing your speech. Start with your conclusion. That's right. The ending comes first. Briefly summarize what the audience has learned. Then add a call-to-action. Tell them what they should do next. Leave and forget about it? Call their school board- sign-up for your newsletter. You don't have to sell something if your speech is for entertainment. Create an ending that includes a call to action. Memorize it. It should only be about 30 seconds, but that is flexible. On the video, deliver your conclusion without notes or any aid. Do it twice or three times a row to prove that you can automatically recite it. |
