Ever try reading your messages, write a note, watch a video, or see anything on your mobile device on a bright sunny day? It's almost impossible. I can't see a thing. That's why I invented the SeeScreen. For me and my needs.
So I made on out of cardboard and tape, and attached a shoe lace. And you know what? I was able to shoot an entire documentary on the always sunny South California beaches - and see everything on the monitor.
So I had a serious manufacture make up a batch, and I always keep one two in my equipment backpack wherever I go. It's perfect for watching the video playback. And for dealing with any adjustments on the touch screen.Seriously, it would b inpossible without.
I checked the camerea stores and yeah, they made some different versions of what I needed. But none of them really worked to b honest. They came with a littl hood which attached to the monitor. But gues what? oOnce you velcro it onto the monitor, you can't close it to pack up nd move to another shooting angle. That's no good.
And another thing, those hoods aree way too short. I mean they come only couple inches winde like a rectable lens hood. But who can reeead a monitor from two inches away? I needat least seven or eight inches.
So I could not find anything that worked with my mobile phone or any camera screen.
So I had them made and testd them out on friends and family. None of them used it for making movies. But all of them loved it for reading text messages. And one friend loved it because she could watch her favorite movies on the beach and see it perfectly clear, just like being in a movie theater. I thought who waatches movies on the beach? But hey, it worked for their needs.
